Privacy Notice

Last updated 8 September 2026. This explains what Pleofon collects, why, and how to get it deleted. The controller is Bryza Media Gracjan Jeschke, VAT ID PL5833495749, reachable at contact@pleofon.ai.

The short version

Analysis runs on your computer. We need an email address to run your licence, a hardware identifier to count your monthly usage, and, only if you leave the improvement programme switched on, the material you edited so we can train better cutting models.

What we collect

Your email address, because it is your account. We use it to send sign-in links and, when necessary, messages about your licence. Legal basis: performance of our contract with you.

A hardware identifier. Pleofon derives a value from your Mac and stores a salted hash of it. This is personal data, and we say so plainly. We use it for one thing: counting the minutes of analysis used in the current month, so that the free limit is per computer rather than per email address. Legal basis: our legitimate interest in offering a free plan that is not trivially reset by creating another account.

Usage counters: minutes analysed in the current period, and the date of your last contact with our servers. Legal basis: performance of our contract.

Your source material and edit decisions, but only while the Pleofon Improvement Program is switched on. This is the audio you cut and the record of which cuts you kept, moved or rejected. Legal basis: your consent, which you may withdraw at any time. We use it to train and evaluate cutting models. We never use it to train generative AI, and we do not publish it.

Update checks. Pleofon asks our server whether a newer version exists. That request carries the version you are running and your IP address, as any web request does. We use it for nothing else and do not build profiles from it. Legal basis: our legitimate interest in shipping fixes to people who already have the app.

Payment data is not collected by us at all. Paddle takes your payment details directly and we never see your card number. Paddle acts as an independent controller for that data.

Who else processes it

Cloudflare, Inc. hosts our servers and stores uploaded material; training material is held in the European Union. Resend sends our sign-in emails. Paddle.com Market Ltd processes payments as merchant of record.

How long we keep it

Account data is kept for as long as your account exists. Training material is kept for as long as it is useful for improving the models, and we delete it on request as described below. The monthly usage counter is kept until the end of the period it belongs to, and it survives account deletion; otherwise deleting an account would be a way to reset the free limit every month. That counter is attached to the hardware hash and is no longer linked to any identity we hold.

Your rights

You can access, correct, export or delete your data, object to processing, and withdraw consent at any time. The fastest route is inside the app: Settings, then Pleofon Improvement Program, then Delete my data. That deletes the material you sent to the improvement programme. It does not touch your account, your licence or your projects, because withdrawing your material and giving up the software are two different things. You can also write to contact@pleofon.ai, and we will delete the account itself on request.

What we cannot undo: material that has already gone into a trained model cannot be taken back out of it. Deleting removes the sources, so they are not used in any future training. We would rather say this plainly than imply an erasure we cannot perform.

Switching the improvement programme off stops any further material being sent, immediately, and has no effect on your licence, your price or any feature of the app.

If you believe we are handling your data wrongly, you may complain to your local data protection authority. In Poland that is the President of the Personal Data Protection Office.

Children

Pleofon is not directed at children under 16 and we do not knowingly collect their data.

Changes

We will announce material changes in the app or by email before they take effect. The date at the top of this page always shows the current version.
